Kamehameha Elementary School – Kapalama

In less than 2 months during the summer recess, nearly $1M of renovations were completed on three elementary school buildings at the Kapalama campus.  New storefronts and exterior window shades on repainted facades enliven the indoor-outdoor classroom areas for students and teachers.  Restrooms and outdoor hand washing stations were transformed by colorful tiled walls and new fixtures.  Other upgrades to plumbing and lighting and roof and gutter repairs will extend the life cycle of these buildings and reduce maintenance costs for many years to come.
